Why Walk-In Patients Choose MySmile
Same-day care, evening hours, and treatment that addresses the problem, not just the pain.
Walk-Ins Accepted During Office Hours
If you are in pain or have a dental emergency, you do not have to wait days for an appointment. Walk into our office during business hours and we will see you. For the shortest wait time, calling ahead is recommended so we can prepare for your visit.
Open Evenings Until 7 PM
We are open until 7 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If a dental problem comes up during the workday, you can walk in after work instead of leaving early or waiting until your next day off.
Comprehensive Care, Not Just Pain Relief
Some walk-in clinics only address the immediate pain and send you elsewhere for the actual treatment. At MySmile, Dr. Bhatia diagnoses the problem and can often start definitive treatment the same visit, whether that is a filling, extraction, or root canal.
New Patients Welcome
You do not need to be an established patient to walk in. We handle new patient registration quickly and will have you in the chair as fast as possible. Bring your insurance card and ID if you have them.
Full Diagnostic Capabilities
We have digital x-rays on site, so Dr. Bhatia can diagnose the problem immediately without sending you somewhere else for imaging. A complete picture of what is going on means the right treatment plan from the start.
Sedation Available for Anxious Walk-Ins
If you are in pain and also anxious about dental treatment, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available immediately. For oral sedation, you may need a short follow-up appointment since the medication needs to be taken in advance.
Walk-In Services
Urgent care, new patient visits, and same-day treatment without a prior appointment.

What to Expect as a Walk-In Patient
When you walk in, our front desk team will get you registered quickly. If you are a new patient, there is a short intake form. Bring your insurance card and ID if you have them, but do not let missing paperwork stop you from coming in if you are in pain.
Dr. Bhatia will evaluate your situation, take digital x-rays if needed, and diagnose the problem. She will explain what is going on, what your treatment options are, and what it will cost. In many cases, treatment can begin right away: a filling replaced, a tooth extracted, a root canal started, or antibiotics prescribed for an infection.
If your situation requires follow-up treatment, we will schedule it before you leave. For patients who are anxious, nitrous oxide is available immediately to help you get through the visit comfortably. Our goal is to get you out of pain and on the path to a real solution, not just a temporary fix.

Do you accept walk-in patients?
Yes. Walk-in patients are welcome during our regular office hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Tuesday and Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. For the shortest wait time, we recommend calling (714) 998-4151 on your way so we can prepare for your arrival. If you have a dental emergency outside of our hours, call and leave a message or go to your nearest emergency room.
Do I need to be an existing patient to walk in?
No. New patients are welcome to walk in. We will handle registration and paperwork when you arrive. If you have your dental insurance card, ID, and a list of any medications you take, bring them along to speed up the process.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Call us at (714) 998-4151 or walk in during office hours. Common dental emergencies include severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth (keep the tooth moist and get here within 30 minutes if possible), broken or cracked teeth, loose or lost crowns/fillings, swelling or abscess, and bleeding that will not stop. We prioritize emergencies and will get you seen as quickly as possible.
How long is the wait for walk-in patients?
Wait times depend on our schedule that day. During less busy times, you may be seen immediately. During peak hours, there may be a short wait. Calling ahead reduces your wait time because we can slot you into the schedule. Emergency cases like severe pain, swelling, or trauma are prioritized regardless of the schedule.
Will you treat the problem or just prescribe painkillers?
We treat the problem. Dr. Bhatia diagnoses the cause of your pain and provides definitive treatment whenever possible on the same visit. If a filling has come out, we replace it. If a tooth needs extraction, we can often do it the same day. If a root canal is needed, we can start the process immediately. We do not just mask pain and send you away.
Do you accept insurance for walk-in visits?
Yes. We accept most dental insurance plans and process your claim on the same day as your visit. If you do not have insurance, we offer transparent pricing and financing through Cherry, CareCredit, Sunbit, and LendingClub. A dental emergency should not be delayed because of cost concerns.
Can I walk in for a routine cleaning?
Walk-ins for routine cleanings depend on hygienist availability that day. We recommend scheduling cleanings in advance to guarantee your preferred time. However, if you are in the area and want to try, call us and we will let you know if a spot is open.
What are your walk-in hours?
Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Tuesday and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are accepted throughout these hours, though arriving at least 30 minutes before closing gives us enough time for a thorough evaluation and treatment.
Do Not Wait When You Are in Pain
Walk into MySmile Dental Care during office hours or call (714) 998-4151 on your way. We accept walk-ins, new patients, and most insurance plans.
